Our story
Raising the voices that deserve to be heard.
Sauti Yetu is a not-for-profit community organization supporting newcomers and immigrants as they settle in Canada. We welcome people of all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Mission
To empower and advocate for the unheard voices of immigrants in Canada, especially around the challenges and cultural shock newcomers face. We promote social integration and diversity, recognize the contributions immigrants make, and raise awareness, provide resources and foster meaningful intercultural dialogue toward a more inclusive society.
Vision
A Canada where the voices of all immigrants are heard, valued and respected; where diversity is celebrated; and where newcomers receive the support they need to thrive and to participate and contribute fully.
